Cut the pith rays of the oak at a slight angle to minimize the appearance of "scaly" wood grains, producing a straight grained veneer.


4cutting


(Lengthwise Slicing)-Place the flat-saw board flat through a fixed slicing knife and cut the veneer from the bottom of the board. The texture pattern of the longitudinally cut veneer varies.
